current prayer needs
- Church Plant(s)
We are in an exciting season of preparing for a new church plant. Our staff along with local Church leaders are gathering for meetings, participating in our Urban Ministry Insistute classes and about to attend a weekend long Church Planting Intensive at our Wichita campus in preparation of what's to come. We ask that you would join us in prayer over the following.
- Unity among our team
- Sensativety to the Spirits leading
- Wisdom and discernment
- Spiritual protection over all involved aspecially local leaders
We are also in need of volunteers to help watch children while this training and these meetings are taking place, Monday nights. We need one if not two people willing to watch children from 5 months old to 3 years old for 2 hours every Monday at our ministry center, 6:00 - 8:00p.m.. Please pray that God will provide us with those volunteers. If you are interested please contact Hannah Riggs here.
- 16 Identified Potential Leaders in our Community
Last year our staff came together and identified 16 potential leaders in our
community. We based this on their openess to us as missionaries and the
powerful influence they are in their community, whether that be in their
family unit, gang, block or drug ring. We ask that you would join us in prayer
as we continue to build relationship with them and share the Gospel.
We also invite you to join with us in praise to the Lord as we have seen
clear growth in some of the people in the past year, one who has accepted
Christ and another who is taking classes through The Urban Ministry
Institute.
