World Impact's After-School Kids Club develops our connection with neighborhood youth through the use of our Ministry Center. From board games in the Rec Room, to basketball and dodgeball in the gym, to electives, to daily devotions, our youth have fun and constructive activities to fill their afternoons.
Spring Break Youth Outreach
During the local school system's Spring Break, World Impact hosts a weeklong Day Camp for surrounding youth, providing a safe alternative when school is not in session. The program includes daily Bible lessons, music, crafts, electives, a free lunch, and much much more! Enjoy this video to the left from Spring Break '10; "It All Comes Back to Jesus".
Leadership In Training (LIT) and Junior Leadership In Training
The Leadership In Training (LIT) program is designed to mentor and disciple high school students who are committed to furthering their relationship with Jesus Christ and to build up leadership within the local churches. The students who choose to participate must complete the curriculum provided through National World Impact and spend three of their summers in California at The Oaks (a World Impact camp) furthering their leadership skills. The Junior LIT program is a locally run program, which prepares our Junior High students to enter the LIT program. Through mentoring and discipleship, the Junior LITs learn to practice and develop leadership within their own church and community.
